Mama Victoria's Orpahanage
These are some pictures of Mama Vic's in the city. Mama Vic has two orphanages that the Deck department are working with. One day a week we go to the orphanage and work. Here you can see what it looks like before we started. We are focusing on shelter and water to help them out. The Church had a cloth roof and the boys dormitory had no walls or roof. We also put in a well so they will have plenty of water to drink.. Below are some pictures of some of the progress we have made.. The completed project photos will also be coming..

Pitcures of the Past - Dry Dock/Nahoon Reef - East London
The challenge I gave myself was to make it out to the island in front of me, after I made the decision to go for it, it was only fun. If you zoom in you can see the pics better...
That was one day at Nahoon Reef. I was dry from knee up in all those pictures. Oh yeah, I am also in all the pictures. I returned there many times while in East London.
The ship spent one week out of water while in East London, South Africa. My task during this time was to overhaul all the fresh water valves going to the water tanks.

Pictures of the Past- East London
Well I have finally started a blog.. It has taken me along time to do it. But I have. I am going to have my first posts be mostly pictures of where I have been and I will try to write a little to go with it. What I expect this blog to do is to help me keep my friends and family better informed as to how my life is going. Here are some postcards from my time in East London, South Africa.
This is the Lion Park I went there three times. Mainly because I could
play wth lions and because it cost about 1 dollar to get into..
This is Inkwekwezi , It was an overnight Safari I went on. I also went kayaking there another great highlight.
