Camping at Sand Beach

For a couple of days during our mid outreach break a group of friends and I went camping at Sand Beach.
The journey there was one of the best parts of the trip. Riding on the Land Rover over the back country foot paths we traversed dozens of little moats and foot bridges. We drove for about three miles through the sand and eventually arrived at a little church. The church (Shiloh Baptist Church) was founded in 1876 and is still in use today. We set up our tents about 5o yards from the Atlantic Ocean spent the rest of the day enjoying the tranquility and peacefulness of a deserted tropical paradise..

Gordo-
I have enjoyed reading your blog and looking at your pictures over the past week or so. You are doing some amazing things! I actually dreamed about a bunch of us Houghton people being on your ship last night. It was pretty crazy! Thanks for keeping us updated!
