Kayking in Bogue Sound

Today I went Kayaking. I paddled from Camp down to Bogue Sound and then crossed the sound to Indian Shores. On my return trip I was very fortunate to be surounded by a pod of about 15 dolphins. The dolphins were feeding all around me. The closest they came to me was about 1-2 feet. They even swam under my kayak. Also on my way back to camp there were lots of fish jumping out of the water..

Sweet Gordon. I love these pictures. How cool is that that the dolphins came so close to you. Dolphins have been a lifelong favorite creature of mine. Man do I wish I could run into Dolphins like this. They are fascinating mammals.

Hi Gordon Keesler! Every once in a while I check out everyone's blog page to see how the MS shipmates are doing. You're now in the greatest state in the country- MINE! The dolphins are pretty cool, I love to jet ski with them swimming beside me. Congratulations to you and Jenn!! I am so happy for y'all. May God bless y'alls future with love and many adventures together. Tell her I said HEY! :)
